Right of Withdrawal & Returns

As a consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
On this page you will find all important information about deadlines, procedures and returns at Bonsai Aikoka.

1. Statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)

The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers. No right of withdrawal exists for business customers.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), received the goods.

2. Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us by email:

Order number
Items to be returned
Invoice number (if applicable)

Withdrawal may be declared informally – a short message is sufficient.

3. Return of goods

After withdrawal, the goods must be returned to us within 14 days.

Please note:

The goods must be unused, clean and in resalable condition.
Original packaging is not mandatory but recommended.
Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer.
We recommend insured shipping, especially for fragile items such as bonsai pots.

Important:
The goods must be packaged carefully. You are only liable for any loss in value if it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4. Refund

After receiving and inspecting the returned goods, we will refund:

the value of the goods
if applicable, a deduction for loss in value due to use

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Processing usually takes 3–7 working days after receipt.

5. Exclusions and limitations

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

used, damaged or heavily soiled goods
custom-made or individually configured products
items modified at the customer’s explicit request

Products from our regular Bonsai Aikoka range are not affected by these exclusions, provided they are returned in their original condition.

6. Complaints (warranty)

In the case of defective or faulty goods, the right of withdrawal does not apply. Instead, the statutory warranty period of 24 months applies.
